Councils on Aging
Extensive experience in writing menus for Councils on Aging and/or caterers or kitchens that serve both C-I and C-II meals. All menus meet set federal and state standards for nutritional analysis, fat, sodium, and calorie guidelines.
Monthly - quarterly- yearly in-service training for site managers, volunteers, and participants on health and safety nutrition, dietary, food service, and sanitiation topics.
Quarterly - annual site and kitchen assessments are also provided, and if needed, appropriate training scheduled for the food workers if sanitation and safety issues are noted during the inspection.
Diet-nutrition-wellness education talks/presentations for the participants at the meal site/center are available or can be created to suit specific topics and interests.
